Puppies!
Twenty years ago, Patrick Nau captured the twinkling eyes of our five year old daughter. Now, he has captured a special moment with our daughter and her tiny Yorkie, Madi and our puppy Lily.
We decided to get a portrait of the two Yorkies. Patrick captured that puppy moment, in fantastic portraits bringing smiles now and for many years to come!
Patrick's studio is comfortable and relaxing. His friendly, calm disposition and his no pressure approach made for another great portrait experience. It is a privilege to have Patrick as our neighborhood photographer.

Family photos become a fun ritual with Patrick!
Back in 1990 we decided to have a family portrait taken. We thought what a great idea it would be to have just one professional portrait taken of all of us to share with our relatives in other states. We wanted a record of our young family, at that time we had a 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son.
We chose Patrick Nau Photography. Pat had taken several beautiful pictures of our children; we loved his work. Little did we know it would be the start of a 17 year tradition for our family, which now includes our 21 year old daughter, 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter.
We take a lot of snapshots; every birthday, first day of school, holiday and vacation. The multiple boxes of unsorted photos in our basement are a testament to that as well as the 3000 plus photos on our computer. So why go for the formal portrait and why do it more than once? Of all the pictures we took there are very few with all of us together. Even if we were together we didn't always look great and our snapshots were: blurry, someone had their eyes shut or a strange look on their face.
Our extended families love the portraits as much as we do and grandma has each and every one hanging proudly! Our portraits were well worth the investment. We cherish the beautiful visual record of our family as it has grown and changed. A trip to Patrick Nau Photography every few years is a family ritual we hope will continue for quite some time.

It has been a pleasure to work with Patrick over the years. It all began in 1996 with our wedding. Since then Patrick has provided beautiful lasting memories through his work.
Our most recent photo, our family on the creek, is one of our favorites. Patrick captured who we are as a family. We appreciate his artistry. We look forward to many more memories created with Patrick Nau.
